Salary: £168.80 – £262.92 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time / Long-term (with potential for permanent placement)

About the School
The School is a mixed Secondary School for students aged from 11 to 16 years with around 1100 students in total. The School is based in Portsmouth. The school was graded as a Good School in its last Ofsted inspection and continues to perform well.
The Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate History Teacher to join the school’s dedicated Humanities team. The successful candidate will deliver lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach A-Level for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging History lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Encourage students to think critically and express their ideas confidently
- Differentiate lessons to cater for a range of abilities and learning styles
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives
