Position: ICT and Computer Science Teacher

Location: Hailsham, East Sussex
Start Date: November 2026
Contract Type: Long-Term (until July 2027)
Pay: £175 – £260 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an ICT and Computer Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Hailsham area from November. This long-term position is expected to continue until the end of the academic year and will involve teaching ICT and Computer Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

You will deliver engaging lessons covering digital literacy, computer systems, and programming, helping students develop essential technical skills and confidence in technology. The school provides a well-structured curriculum and supportive department, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring learners to achieve their potential.

Both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Recent experience teaching ICT and/or Computer Science in UK secondary schools.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
  • Passionate about technology and innovative teaching methods.
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 is desirable.
