Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching to KS1 pupils, adapting lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development through engaging and inclusive classroom practices.
- Foster independence, resilience, and collaboration through interactive and stimulating learning experiences.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment that supports pupils’ well-being.
- Promote health and well-being through activities that encourage physical, emotional, and social development.
- Develop pupils’ literacy and numeracy skills through targeted support and effective teaching strategies.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data to inform planning and interventions.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is preferred but NOT ESSENTIAL.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
- Passionate about teaching and committed to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment with strong behaviour management.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check and professional references.
