Salary: £29,344 – £44,919

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to KS1 pupils, adapting lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development through engaging and inclusive classroom practices.
  • Foster independence, resilience, and collaboration through interactive and stimulating learning experiences.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment that supports pupils’ well-being.
  • Promote health and well-being through activities that encourage physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Develop pupils’ literacy and numeracy skills through targeted support and effective teaching strategies.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data to inform planning and interventions.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is preferred but NOT ESSENTIAL.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
  • Passionate about teaching and committed to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment with strong behaviour management.
  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check and professional references.
