About the Role

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a passionate KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school, where you’ll play a key role in inspiring pupils and supporting their academic, personal, and social development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2.
  • Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
  • Teach a broad and balanced curriculum, supporting pupils in developing their literacy, numeracy, and wider academic skills.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupils’ progress, using assessment data to inform planning and provide targeted support where required.
  • Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments where appropriate, ensuring they are supported to achieve their full potential.
  • Promote positive behaviour and high expectations in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, parents, and the wider school team to support pupils’ progress and wellbeing.
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for delivering engaging lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their best.
  • A commitment to supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
