Supply Desk are working closely with a lovely school in the heart of Wing. It is important to the school that children feel they are part of a caring, happy and safe school family that values the importance of respect, responsibility and friendship. They are currently in search of a passionate Learning Support Assistant that can relate to these values and fit in to their ‘school family’.
The Role:
- Working both 1:1 and small groups
- Supporting children with Learning & Behaviour Difficulties and Autism
- Delivery a variety of activities and lessons alongside the class teacher
- Reporting back to class teacher on students’ progress
- Temp-Perm role
The person:
- Experience working with Special Education Needs
- Have a transferable background such as care, social work, psychology grad
- Keen to learn and has a passion for working with children with learning difficulties
- Caring and supporting by nature
- Able to build rapport with pupils and staff
- A Child & Adult DBS currently on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
