LEVEL 3 TEACHING ASSISTANT

Location: Aylesbury
Start: September 2026
Full Time: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £90–£120 per day

Support in the classroom drives progress.
Consistency builds confidence.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will support KS2 pupils with structured learning and targeted intervention.

Key responsibilities
Support pupils in lessons across KS2
Deliver small group intervention sessions
Assist with literacy and numeracy support
Maintain classroom routines
Support behaviour management
Prepare and organise resources

The classroom environment
Structured and supportive
Clear expectations
Focused learning environment
Consistent routines

Skills and experience
Level 3 TA qualification (preferred)
Experience in KS2 settings
Strong communication skills
Patience and organisation

What success looks like
Pupils remain engaged
Progress improves in key areas
Classroom support is effective

Level 3 qualification desirable; experience essential
