Supply Desk are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Portsmouth. The successful candidate will inspire pupils through creative teaching, high expectations and a nurturing approach, supporting both academic achievement and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.

  • Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing effective feedback.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil achievement.

  • Promote positive behaviour and high standards of learning.

  • Encourage pupils’ confidence, curiosity and independence.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school.

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
