What You’ll Be Doing
• Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons that encourage curiosity, investigation, and critical thinking.
• Use a variety of teaching approaches to support learners of differing abilities and learning styles.
• Track student achievement and implement strategies to maximise progress and attainment.
• Create a classroom culture where students feel motivated, supported, and confident to succeed.
• Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to the ongoing success of the Science department.
• Prepare students for examinations while developing their practical, analytical, and investigative skills.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, effort, and participation across all lessons.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has a degree in Science or a related subject area.
• Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and a passion for their subject.
• Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Has the ability to inspire students and make learning accessible and enjoyable.
• Is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
