Science Teacher SEND KS3

Location: Southampton

Start Date: September 2026

Pay: MP £174 – £240 per day

Hours: Full-time, 8 am – 4pm

About the School:

Supply Desk are currently recruiting on the behalf of a successful SEND school in the centre of Southampton who are looking to recruit a Science teacher for September. This role is either 4 or 5 days a week. The school is rated as “good” and has small class sizes to accommodate children with barriers to learning.   

Job Specifications:

  • Suitable for a newly qualified or experienced Secondary Science Teacher  
  • Full planning and marking responsibilities
  • Good support from SLT and the wider school community
  • Understand how important the wider community is for the support of the school
  • Implement and deliver a science curriculum matched to the level of need within the class
  • Facilitate, support, and monitor the overall progress and development of all students.
  • Foster a learning environment that provides pupils with the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
