We are seeking a motivated Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Portsmouth area. This long-term opportunity is ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop within a welcoming and well-structured environment.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students to achieve strong academic progress and develop confidence within the subject.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve progress
• Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
• Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum delivery
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Passion for education and student progress
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
