Are you a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher looking to inspire students in a supportive, Catholic environment? We are seeking a committed Maths Teacher to join a dynamic and nurturing school community in Hemel Hempstead from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a school where both academic excellence and spiritual growth are prioritised.

In this role, you’ll be part of a team that is dedicated to fostering both the intellectual and moral development of students, supporting them as they grow in their faith while achieving their full academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable).
  • Develop engaging teaching plans that align with the national curriculum, integrating Catholic values where appropriate.
  • Encourage students to see the relevance of Maths in their everyday lives, while fostering their spiritual growth and moral development.
  • Differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse needs of all students, ensuring a supportive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support their academic and personal development.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and the wider school community to create a supportive environment that nurtures the well-being and success of each student.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school by participating in school events, Masses, prayers, and other Catholic traditions.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A strong background in Mathematics, with the ability to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 is desirable).
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality education with a focus on both academic and spiritual growth.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of and commitment to the Catholic ethos, and the ability to work within a faith-based environment.
  • An adaptable and innovative approach to teaching, with a commitment to making Maths engaging and accessible.
  • Experience in a Catholic school setting is desirable, but we welcome applications from all qualified teachers.
