The Role:
Supply Desk are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary School SEN Teacher to join a thriving school in the Bushey area. You will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons, support students with a range of Special Educational Needs, and create a positive learning environment where every student can succeed and reach their full potential.

You will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve meaningful academic and personal progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and support students with Special Educational Needs across Key Stages 3–5 (or Years 7–12), adapting learning to meet individual needs.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with students’ EHCPs and learning targets.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
• Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of SEN provision across the school.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, SEN, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification/certification (QTS) or relevant classroom experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of a range of Special Educational Needs and effective support strategies.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management abilities.
• A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young people with additional needs.
