Part-time teaching assistant – Meon Valley
Starting September on a long term contract
Pay: £85 – £92 per day
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30 Thursday and Friday
About the role:
A part-time an energetic individual is needed to support with a mixed year group class of well-behaved and enthusiastic children. The school is a small village school based in a beautiful area of the Meon Valley. The school is respected and has an excellent Ofsted report. A car would be needed to access this location.

Duties may include:
- Supervising work that has been set in accordance with the school policy
- Managing the behaviour of pupils while they are undertaking this work to ensure a constructive environment
- Responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures
- Collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher
- Reporting back as appropriate using the school’s agreed referral procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class, and any issues arising
- Lunch time duties – supervising children eating and interacting with peers
