Hours: 8:00am – 5:15pm

Daily Rate: £85.50-£120
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Northwood from September 2026. This is a full-time role for one academic term, providing an exciting opportunity to support pupils’ learning and development during a key stage of their education.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support classroom learning, assist pupils with their academic progress, and contribute to creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development in KS1.
- Assist with delivering lessons, classroom activities, and learning resources.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support where required.
- Help monitor and record pupil progress.
- Maintain a positive, well-organised, and safe classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Contribute to school events and wider school life.
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to support pupils with a range of learning needs.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Positive, proactive, and reflective approach to supporting learning.
