The Role

We are seeking a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across KS1 or KS2 (depending on experience). This is a full-time role starting in ASAP, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver targeted support, assist with lesson activities, and help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to students in and out of the classroom
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
• Follow school policies and behaviour management strategies

• A proactive, patient, and supportive approach
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young learners
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
