Daily Rate: £92.63 – £105 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to work full-time in schools across East Grinstead. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants or individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience within education.
About the Role
Are you passionate about helping children succeed in the classroom? We are looking for a proactive and supportive General Teaching Assistant to assist teachers and pupils in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
This rewarding role involves supporting classroom learning, working with small groups of pupils, and helping students build confidence and independence throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers with the delivery of classroom activities and lessons.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Help prepare classroom resources and maintain an organised environment.
- Encourage positive behaviour and active participation in lessons.
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- A positive, patient, and adaptable attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A reliable and proactive approach to supporting learning.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
