Contract: Full-Time | Fixed-Term | Two Terms
Pay: £168–£260 per day
Supply Desk are working with a welcoming primary school in West Sussex who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from January 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate primary teacher looking for a rewarding long-term maternity cover within KS1.
The Role
You will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The successful teacher will:

Have QTS and primary teaching experience

Ideally have experience teaching KS1 / Year 2

Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons

Have high expectations for learning and behaviour

Build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues

Support the academic, social and emotional development of every child

Be confident managing a classroom independently

Work effectively as part of a supportive team
