Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and informative Business Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan lessons that encourage analytical thinking, enterprise skills, and real‑life business understanding.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive, personalised feedback.
- Maintain a purposeful and well‑organised classroom environment.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, department initiatives, and broader school activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance teaching outcomes.
Essential Criteria
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver creative, interactive lessons.
- Effective behaviour management and strong communication skills.
- Commitment to inclusive practice and raising student achievement.
Desirable
- Understanding of Business Studies exam board specifications such as AQA, OCR, or Edexcel.
- Willingness to support extra‑curricular or enrichment activities.
- A reflective and proactive approach to professional development.
