About the Role
Supply Desk is working in partnership with a successful and supportive secondary school in the Bushey area, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that develop mathematical confidence, problem-solving abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Adapt and differentiate teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and appropriate support
• Establish a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
• Contribute to curriculum development and support wider departmental initiatives
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, attendance, and student engagement
• Encourage and support students to achieve their full academic potential
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching Mathematics
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• The ability to motivate, engage, and inspire young people
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
