About the Role
Supply Desk are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join a successful and supportive school in the Pinner area.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5. You will deliver engaging and purposeful Maths lessons that develop students’ confidence, problem-solving abilities and enthusiasm for the subject.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to establish or further develop their teaching career within a positive, ambitious and supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs of all learners
- Monitor, assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
- Contribute to curriculum development and wider departmental initiatives
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and attendance
- Encourage students to develop confidence and independence in Mathematics
- Support students in achieving their academic potential
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching Maths
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- The ability to motivate, challenge and inspire young people
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
- A positive and flexible approach to working as part of a school team
