About the Role
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a motivated Maths Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school, where you’ll play a key role in inspiring students to develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of mathematics.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive Maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning, confidence, and academic achievement.
• Assess, monitor, and record students’ progress, using assessment data to inform planning and support individual achievement.
• Inspire students to develop their mathematical knowledge, reasoning, and analytical skills through high-quality teaching and effective classroom management.
• Promote positive behaviour in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and the wider school team to deliver an outstanding learning experience.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations, providing targeted support where required.
• Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.
