Primary Teacher

Cover teacher throughout EYFS-Y6

Location: Sailsbury

 Start Date: October 2026

Contract: 3 days per week, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

 Pay: Paid to scale (£140-£170)

About the Role:

An average sized Primary school in Sailsbury is seeking an experienced Primary Teacher starting October 2026 to cover PPA throughout the school. This is a role with no planning, no reports and minimal planning whilst you get to know a wide range of children throughout year groups.

You will be responsible for ensuring consistency throughout the school whilst other teachers are out on training or have PPA time.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Primary Teacher
  • Confident in managing classroom routines and expectations.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Skilled in adapting teaching to meet a range of pupil needs, including SEND
  • Supportive of daily collective worship

Requirements

  • UK-recognised teaching qualification.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
  • Compliance with DfE and Safer Recruitment standards.
