Are you a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school, where you’ll play a key role in inspiring young learners and providing them with the best possible start to their education.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that supports children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
- Assess, monitor, and record children’s progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
- Support pupils’ personal, social, emotional, and academic development through high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, parents, and carers to support every child’s progress and development.
- Promote positive behaviour and establish clear classroom routines and expectations.
- Prepare and maintain an engaging learning environment with appropriate resources and displays.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements
- A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- The ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences for all pupils.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
