We are seeking a Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Portsmouth area. This is an exciting opportunity to teach engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 while supporting students to achieve their academic potential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Encouraging curiosity, investigation and critical thinking
• Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve success
• Planning differentiated and inclusive lessons
• Monitoring student progress and supporting attainment
• Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Contributing to departmental planning and school initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge across Science
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
• Ability to motivate and engage learners
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Positive, adaptable and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
