Hours: Full-time (term-time)

Pay: £168 – £232 per day

We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a specialist setting in the Southampton area. This rewarding opportunity involves supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs through tailored teaching and strong pastoral support.
You will play a key role in helping students develop confidence, resilience and academic progress within a structured and supportive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
• Supporting students with SEMH and additional needs
• Building positive relationships with pupils and families
• Promoting emotional wellbeing and resilience
• Managing behaviour using consistent and supportive strategies
• Monitoring progress and adapting teaching approaches
• Creating a calm, safe and inclusive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with SEMH or SEND students (desirable)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• Ability to build trust and positive relationships
• Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
