Hours: Monday – Friday, 15:15–19:15/20:15 (39 weeks per year, term time plus INSET days)

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a dedicated site team within a welcoming educational environment. This role is essential in ensuring staff and students benefit from a clean, safe, and hygienic setting every day. Full training and induction will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced cleaners and those looking to develop new skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
- Carry out routine cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, damp dusting, and emptying bins.
- Clean and maintain student and staff toilet facilities.
- Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and bin liners.
- Safely use cleaning equipment and materials, following training and health and safety procedures.
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cleaning schedules as directed by the Site Manager.
- Report stock requirements and maintain an organised cleaning environment.
- Support the wider site team to ensure the premises remain safe, clean, and presentable.
Candidate Profile
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Willing to undertake training and professional development where required.
