Hours – 8am – 4PM

Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team starting ASAP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English literature and language, with the ability to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5).
Responsibilities
– Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons.
– Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
– Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and department initiatives.
– Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
– Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events and activities.
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational best practices and developments.
Requirements
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– A degree in English or a related field.
– Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
– Excellent communication and organizational skills.
– Commitment to continuous professional development.
– Desirable
– Experience teaching English at the GCSE and A-Level.
– Familiarity with the latest educational technology and methods.
– Enthusiasm for extracurricular activities, particularly in literature and the arts.
The ideal candidate will:

- Be able to deliver Art & Design in a fun and engaging way that students can relate
