About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join this successful department from September 2026. The role involves teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love for literature and language.

You will be joining a well-established English department known for strong outcomes and a collaborative teaching approach. The curriculum is carefully designed to build students’ analytical, creative, and communication skills, preparing them for further education and beyond.

This is a full-time position within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.


Ideal Candidate

We would love to hear from candidates who:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent
  • Have recent experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
  • Can confidently deliver the KS3–KS4 English curriculum
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisation
