Supply Desk is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive early years setting in Uxbridge, with an immediate start available.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate childcare professional who is committed to supporting young children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. The successful candidate will help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can develop their confidence, independence, and social skills through play-based learning.
Working alongside an experienced team, you will support the delivery of engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework, helping every child reach their full potential.
The Role
- Support children’s learning and development through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Assist with planning and delivering creative play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS Framework.
- Promote children’s communication, language, physical, social, and emotional development.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
- Observe children’s progress and contribute to assessments and learning records.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Support children’s personal care needs while promoting independence and dignity.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and child protection procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Has experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting.
- Has a good understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.
- Demonstrates a caring, patient, and nurturing approach.
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and develop.
- Understands safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
- Is available to start ASAP.
