The Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4. This full-time position begins September 2026 and has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will deliver engaging PE lessons that promote teamwork, physical fitness, and student well-being both indoors and outdoors.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across key stages
• Promote healthy lifestyles, participation, and sportsmanship
• Support students’ progress through effective assessment and guidance
• Lead and assist with extracurricular sports teams and clubs
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and follow whole-school policies

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification
• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• A passion for PE and motivating young people
• A proactive, positive, and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
