Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Supply Desk is currently seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Radlett from September 2026.

This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for a teacher with experience supporting pupils with Autism and additional learning needs. Applications are welcomed from both qualified teachers (QTS) and experienced unqualified teachers who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.

About the Role

As a SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with Autism and additional learning needs.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where pupils can achieve their full potential.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet a wide range of learning abilities and communication needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals.
  • Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Foster independence, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and support whole-school initiatives.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is welcomed; experienced unqualified teachers will also be considered.
  • Autism training and/or experience working with pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) is highly desirable.
  • Flexible and confident teaching across multiple classrooms.
  • Motivated and passionate about SEN education.
  • Open to change, learning, and constructive feedback.
  • Positive attitude and resilient on challenging days.
  • Adaptive teaching approach for a wide range of abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to learn, reflect, and grow within the role.
